Testimonials

Nandini

“Ali did a fantastic job both validating the realities of living with alopecia in a hair-obsessed world and urging me to consider a different reality for myself. She never made me feel over-dramatic, but always managed to get me to consider a different and better world for myself. I plan to remember that alopecia isn’t something I need to change or apologize for. It’s a part of me that I can love but it doesn’t have to be all of me. I can now live proudly in a society that doesn’t understand Alopecia“

What’s the Investment?

The investment for the whole program will be a one time fee of $3,100 (best value) or 12 monthly payments of $290 (reduced fee available depending on financial need)

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Coaching

  • Coaching services are meant to a proactive approach to getting support and guidance for achieving goals and learning new skills

  • The focus of coaching is on skills, techniques, strategies and education using action oriented and solution focused approaches for specific goals (in this case, for hair loss and related goals)

  • Coaching is a lower level of care than therapy (which means it is not suited for high risk concerns such as substance abuse, active eating disorders, psychosis, self harm, suicidal ideation or thoughts, intense behavioral struggles etc)

  • Coaching does not include diagnosis or assessments

  • My coaching services are available to anyone worldwide

Therapy

  • Therapy services are meant to asses, treat and diagnose mental illness

  • The focus of therapy is treating a variety mental health concerns (not always specific to one thing) and typically is longer term

  • Therapy is a higher level of care than coaching

  • Therapy typically includes a diagnosis, treatment planning and therapeutic treatment using a variety of evidenced based therapies and approaches

  • Therapy is only offered to clients who are in the state where clinician is licensed (for me, this means I can only work with clients who are in New York)
