Current workshops include

Dating with Alopecia

Dating can be challenging for anyone. After an alopecia areata diagnosis, it is often scary and overwhelming. In this workshop, licensed psychotherapist, Alison Mann, will discuss how to overcome common obstacles such as anxiety and negative body image; how to discuss alopecia, dating apps, when to tell a date you wear wigs, and more!

Coping with Anxiety due to Hair Loss

Anxiety is one of the biggest impacts of hair loss. I experience it myself and it is something my clients bring up often. The good news is you’re not alone. If you have ever experienced fear of people commenting or noticing your hair loss, social anxiety, urges to isolate yourself since losing hair, feeling withdrawn in social settings due to constant hair loss thoughts, desiring to stop wearing wigs but feeling scared or feel held back from things you enjoy - this workshop is for you!

Alopecia Acceptance Masterclass

Acceptance is one of the most crucial skills during Alopecia because it will support you through any and all decisions. Whether it is trying treatment, wearing wigs or trying not to wear wigs and absolutely everything in between, being able to use acceptance as a skill is useful. This workshop discusses what acceptance truly is and how you can start using it.
