Alison Mann: Licensed Therapist & Hair Loss Support Specialist

Hi! Welcome :) I am so glad you found your way here! My name is Alison Mann and I am the owner of Aid by Ali LLC and Authentically You Therapy.

Aid by Ali is home to all of my non-therapy hair loss support resources and my private practice, Authentically You Therapy, is where I provide all psychotherapy services.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work and from Ramapo College of New Jersey and my Master of Social Work from New York University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing psychotherapy for people who live in NY mainly specializing in anxiety, body image, BFRBs and eating disorders. My desire to join the mental health field stemmed from many things, but one being I did not see any providers who looked like me. I also noticed there was a HUGE lack in mental health resources for hair loss. We deserve professional care from people who truly understand and to be offered support on this journey!

I also spend time volunteering on committees for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) and Children’s Alopecia Project (CAP).
